1.DAY
05:00 Departure from Sunny Beach to Bucharest – the capital of Romania, founded in 1459 on both banks of the Dambovita river, also known as “Little Paris” because of its artistic life and the beautiful architecture – stopovers, crossing of the Bulgarian–Romanian border.
12:00 Sightseeing tour by bus (about 2 hours): Victory Square; Square of the Revolution; Royal Palace; Temple of the Music “Athene” (concert and festival center, one of the emblems of Bucharest, which is distinguished by its style dome with a height of 30 m); the Parliament (outside) – the second largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon, built on an area of 45 acres of the 20,000 workers in the management of Nicolae Ceausescu; the Patriarchal Cathedral and the Palace – the spiritual center of the city, the relics of St. Demetrius Basarbovski, the Union Square. Free time in the center of Bucharest.
16:00 Departure to Sinaia – arrival, accommodation in the 3/4* hotel Palace/Karaiman.
Free time for a walk in Sinaia. Overnight.
2.DAY
07:00 Breakfast. Check out the hotel.
08:00 Visit of the monastery of Sinaia, also called the cathedral of Bucegi Mountains, being built at the end of the 17th century by spatar Mikhail Cantacuzino, after his return from the Sinai Mountain. This is where the name of the monastery came from, name taken by the town as well. .
09:00 Visit of the castle “Peles“ – the summer residence of the first Romanian royal couple King Carol I and Queen Elizabeth, a masterpiece of German new-Renaissance architecture, one of the most stunning castles in Europe Its rooms are adorned with the finest examples of European art, Murano crystal chandeliers, German stained-glass windows and Cordoba leather-covered walls. (a standard tour which lasts 45 minutes).
11:00 Departure for the castle “Bran“.
12:00 Visit of the castle “Bran”, known as the Dracula’s castle – opportunity to experience the history, the myth, the intrigue and the magic of this magic place and its Queen.
Free time to have lunch and buy souvenirs.
14:30 Departure to Bulgaria.
Crossing of the Romanian-Bulgarian border. Arrival in Sunny Beach after midnight.
The price includes: transport with A/C bus, 1 overnight in a 3/4-star hotel (Palace/Karaiman) in Sinaia, 1 breakfast, 1 dinner, entrance fees for the Sinaia monastery, the Peles castle, the Dracula’s castle “Bran”, sightseeing tour of Bucharest and guide.
