1.DAY:
06:00 Departure from Sunny Beach. Arrival in Plovdiv – walking tour through the old town of Plovdiv with visit of the St.St.Konstantin and Elena church. Lunch.
13:00 Departure to the mystical country Rupite, situated at the foot of the dead volcano “Kozhuh”. Visit of the complex, built by the famous Bulgarian soothsayer and healer Baba Vanga, – the church “St. Petka”, the grave of Vanga, the house (in which she lived and met people in need), the thermal hot springs and the rock cross, built at its behest.
18:00 A walking tour in Melnik – the smallest town of Bulgaria. Accommodation in a hotel 3* in Melnik. Dinner. Overnight.
2. DAY:
08:00 Breakfast. Check out. Departure for Rila Monastery – one of the most important cultural monuments in Bulgaria under the protection of UNESCO, founded in the tenth century by St. Ivan Rilski. Free time to explore the monastery complex – the church “Virgin Mary”, the grave of Tsar Boris III, fortress tower, historical museum with Rafail’s Cross (entrance fee for the museum – 10 leva). Lunch.
13:00 Departure and arrival in Sofia – the capital of Bulgaria. Panoramic walking tour along the Holy Synod, the square “Knyaz Alexander I”, the National Assembly, the Monument to the Tsar Liberator, the Presidency, the Russian Church; visiting the memorial temple “Alexander Nevski”. Free time.
18:00 Departure to Sunny Beach and arrival about
